What is CBD Oil?
CBD oil is the most commonly used form of Cannabidiol, , completely non-toxic substance derived from hemp – Cannabis sativa (C. sativa). The extract is dissolved in carrier (basic) oil at the desired concentration. The choice of carrier oil is important for the quality of the resulting product, because quality oil improves the absorption of CBD to human or animal body.
The basic effects of CBD that everyone can easily spot in themselves are the improvements in the quality of sleep. But it’s just one of the few things CBD is helping against. And in fact, the least important one. A large number of studies investigating the positive neuro-protective effects of CBD have been ongoing in recent years. Cannabidiol fights not only anxiety, sleep disorders, muscle and bone pain, but also against a number of other serious health problems. Ongoing research shows significant effects of CBD against Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s, multiple sclerosis or neuropathic pain.
We at Cannglory only use a high-quality coconut MCT oil because medium chain triglyceride oil (MCT) allows it to be absorbed immediately by the digestive tract without having to split into shorter chains. Thanks to this, Cannabidiol enters the body quickly and to the maximum extent possible. The most common concentrations of Cannabidiol in oil are from 5% to 20% of the total volume. These CBD concentrations have proven to be the most suitable for widespread use. These concentrations make perfect use of the positive effects and do not show possible side effects.
CBD oils with higher concentrations such as 30% or even 40% appear on the market as well. Such concentrations are very high for the human body and the body may have trouble processing them. As a result, digestive problems or headaches may arise. Excess CBD is ultimately eliminated from the body without any benefit. The significantly higher price of high concentrations does not have increased health benefits.
