Hemp rich in THC usually has less CBD and vice versa – varieties rich in CBD have a fractional THC content in tenths of a percent (0.1% – 0.2%). Legislation allows a maximum content of 0.2% THC in the EU, 0.3% in the USA. However, traces of THC are considered beneficial in CBD products because it is also one of the cannabinoids as well as cannabidiol (CBD).

The complexity of up to 540 different cannabinoids in cannabis products is the cause of their homeostatic effect on the human body. Pure forms of CBD referred to as Pure contain absolutely no THC. Their positive impact on the body is therefore considered to be weaker.

The minimum amount of THC (less than 0.2%) has no psychoactive effect, does not affect perception and is not detectable by THC tests.

Full spectrum 10% CBD oil, against sleep disorders, anxiety, stress, depression

There are two types of THC-free CBD oil you can choose from:

  • Isolate CBD oil – contains only CBD and is completely free from THC
  • Full-spectrum CBD oil – it is also free from THC, but it contains other cannabinoids and cannabis compounds like terpenes and flavonoids

Terpenes are aromatic compounds that may have therapeutic benefits. Similarly, flavonoids, which are naturally found in all sorts of plants, may have therapeutic benefits as well.
