No. CBD has no dampening effects, does not make a person feel tired and is not addictive. You cannot be in a haze after taking it. The feeling of being “high” is created by one component of cannabis, namely THC.

CBD does have some positive health benefits, like helping people with anxiety and depression. If you’re seeking out CBD as a means to get high, you won’t experience that. To get this feeling, a normal person must take at least 10 mg of THC.

The legal maximum THC concentration in CBD products is 0.2%, which means that 5 drops of CBD oil contains a maximum of 0.1 mg THC, which is one-hundredth of the dangerous quantity. Full spectrum CBD oil contain this trace amount of THC to achieve a full-spectrum effect – so that there is no missing cannabinoid that is present in the plant.

CBD is also known to directly negate the effects of THC in the brain and is therefore a “High” state blocker, which is the biggest difference between CBD and THC. High concentrations of CBD could cause an uplifting effect, but that’s not the same thing as a “high” feeling or state of euphoria as marijuana or THC.
